Rep Power: 262 New Project Car... DC5!
Picked up an 02 DC5 last week.
I have a k20a type r swap on the way with mugen 9200 ecu and valve springs. Mugen 05/06 conversion.
I have a k20a type r swapped civic, but I'm done with it. No more dumping money into the civic.
I've got a new toy now... As you all know.. my friend's DC5 has been my inspiration. Here are some pics of his car.. i'll post mine real soon.

^ too many reasons. Drive one and you'll fall in love with it. If you love the EM2, you'll love the dc5 even more! The car has everything the civic lacks.

i've always liked the dc5's. lately, i've been thinking about trading the civic in for one. if i find a blue type s, it may just happen. congrats on your new project.

I saw those on CRSX but are you basically saying that youre gonna have the same engine setup in the dc5 like the one you already have in the civic?

Thats not exactly speedstar DC5, its SAi's who works at Speedstar.
The one with the green rims is an 05, but the one with the bronze rims is an 02 with an 05/06 conversion.
Yes the setup will be exactly the same as my k20a civic.

Nice! I like your project car except for your rims. It looks like you painted them with a Hi-Lighter
imo, I like the Clean sleeper luxurious Acura RSX's. I dont like when people put H emblems & all those things to look JDM (DC5) not my taste though. Good luck!

i'm not building my motor so the Mugen ecu and valve springs is sufficient. I'm not planning on counting every whp or building the motor.
Mugen can never be a "waist" or waste. I think you meant to say waste.
Nothing Mugen makes is a waste. Its a decent ecu that doesn't need tuning and works well with bolt-ons.
If I had a motor built from bottom up, I would definately go k-pro.

Its not my car.. its my friend "Danio"s from clubrsx... I personally don't like the Wedsports either but they're freakin' rare. I like the Advan RGII's better..

My friend is running k-pro... its nice, he has a fully built motor so its a good choice.
