goin to the track today so what do you guys think i need to do to prep. for me goin there....im runnin on steelies and usinf 93 oct. im takin my subs out and all...what should i launch at in my k20...

i hope you beefed up your brakes - better fluid, lines, rotors, and pads.
edit: by track, you mean 1/4 mile? then....just run whatever you feel like running. launch at 20k. haha

For launching....it depends on your set up. Just play with it on the way there, find a good rpm where it will pull hard but won't spin. I say start around 2000-2500 and move up gradually and find the sweet spot

i ran a 15.5..i dunno what the problem is, its a 1/2 improve from last but still i think my launch is terrible..my r/t is 6/10 and it feels like im so slow off the line..

man no offense but your K20 Track times are kinda depressing.. makes me not wanna save up for the swap. Well i guess have u got it tuned since install? Like i don't know alot about swaps, but i would guess with better tuning any motor could reach its full potential.
