My Civic after having its airbags ripped off
This happened last November but I recently developed the pics. It happened at Wilson subway station in Toronto. The quality is pretty crappy because it was a rainy day and I used a disposable camera. (Thanks for choosing a rainy day to break into my car so my interior was nice an wet too lol)

damn that sux i remember hearing on the news how people would break into cars and steal just the airbag and sell them to local shops.

they should make something that if you disconnect the airbag without flipping a switch or something, it goes off, so it hits the burglar and wastes the thing he's trying to take. that would be sick.

it was probably someone with a 7th gen that needed the air bags. I think the air bags from the dealer are a couple of grand.

nah...i saw this on the news also. they steal it then sell it to someone who needs it. and since investigators cant determine whos car the airbag came from..they really cant do anything about it.

Those are my winters 
Lately there has been a rash of airbag thefts in Toronto mainly Civics and Corollas. They sell them to shady body shops. If mine get stolen again I think I won't even have them replaced, I'll just drive without airbags.

geez just for airbags guess it's time to switch to a nardi wheels with quick release hub.
and build a cover over the passenger side one just like they do on the DC's and Eg's

if you look on ebay, sellers are selling 7thgen civic airbags, and they are from Canada

That's dumb. I would never ever break into someones car. Well, I've heard that civic were number one on the top ten list of cars to steal and break into back in 2004, and right now, I think it's number three.
