Rep Power: 301 diy door panels to red and valve cover
tools..
-adhesive cleaner fluid
-36"x52" piece of fabric(mine was red)
-trim panel remover, unless you are careful, a flathead can work.
-Loctite heavy duty spray adhesive
-scissors
-pencil
-screwdriver
all this was pretty easy. i looked at DIYs and pictures from this and other sites. www.superhonda.com has one too! but all in all.. looks nice and pretty good too. 2 hours of work and $16 in tools.
here's a compilation of my pics...
here is where i cleaned off the old residue. the cleaner fluid did wonders!
two fluid to help with the process
red fabric cut out before placement.
finished product on driver door!
random pic of car with the door panel exposed!
also i did my valve cover and here it is

They came out good man.
Any idea if I would be able to get a set of those OEM panels through a parts site or a dealer? I want to avoid buying a set of whole door panels. I am going to be doing pretty much the same thing except glassing mine and painting them to match my exterior.
Anyone parting out have a set of these inserts?

I haven't really looked into it yet... I'm either going to resin over the fabric or remove the fabric and glaze the piece behind it. You would know....what is behind the fabric? Just an abs panel or something? That would be my guess. Either eay I'm going to need the entire insert piece and not just the fabric.
