Rep Power: 0 Wrecked Car, BODY KIT HELP, PLEASE!
Hey you guys, over the weekend I unfortunately spun out on ice and hit a goddamn boulder and a mailbox, doesn't sound that bad, but it got the best of my car. Basically my back right quarter panel is destroyed, punctured the radiator, and I need to replace my bumper. But, I've planned on putting a kit on my car for about a year now and I guess this is the time to do it since I'm getting it repainted and everything. But I need some help, me and my dad are trying to look up which has the best type of quality, durability, etc. I really need some help, this is a big purchase and I don't want to end up buying something and it not lasting long from cracks to all that other junk. Duraflex Fiberglass? Good Reviews anyone?
Help me out, please!

Rep Power: 215 Do not bother with fiberglass at all....it looks good for a couple of months then it will start to crack and you will get stress fractures. Poly urethane is def the way to go. You will spend more but its better than buying a new bumper every couple months with fiberglass.

Rep Power: 0 Thanks you guys, I just called Andy's Auto Sport and the guy recommended an Extreme Dimensions Duraflex Fiberglass kit because he said its nothing like normal fiberglass. Its so much more durable and flexible. But hey, maybe I will go with this Kaminari lip kit I was looking at. Thanks for the help

Rep Power: 0 Do not get fiberglass, believe me. They can only take so much, after a couple pot holes and rocks, my fiberglass bodykit had cracks or something broke off. Now im going for the oem w/ lip kit, last longer.

I'll be honest I have a cwest kit and its fibreglass and i havent had any trouble with it yet. BUT i also dont have a crazy drop and i dont drive it when theres more then 3 inches of snow. I bought mine used and got a guy who lives near me to re enforce the fibreglass it works really well. THe guy who had it before me kept it on his car for 2 years and it never cracked and he had to deal with the canadian winters just like me. So dont diss fibreglass its a very affordable option.
