Rep Power: 0 Which Body Kit should I choose?
Ive been going over this for quite some time and im still not sure what to go with...
So I figured I would ask and get peoples opinion on which body kit they might think.
I have a 2001 Black Civic 2 door.
Here are 2 links to which ones im thinking about, but Im open for suggestion.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5424739&rd=1,1
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5522742&rd=1,1
Im also thinking about the R34 kit as well.. not sure though.
Thanks for helping out.

Rep Power: 0 the second link is the same thing as the r34 kit. i would go with that one because the rear bumper on the first kit looks dumb. ive seen them in person and i think it just looks really weird. just my 2cents

Rep Power: 272 Personally if you don't want to spend more money in the long run I would spend the extra money now and buy a polyurethane (plastic) kit. Rather than the ones you are looking which are fiberglass.

Rep Power: 0 personally, i think the whole ricer/bodykit thing is way out of style. the ricers dont even rock bodykits anymore. if you wanna do a big investment on ur car like a bodykit, think about getting something more subtle. something that wont **** you off or make you cringe when you get older.

Rep Power: 311 i say no kit at all, but after dealing with fiberglass kits i can tell you they suck and almost never line up right, so unless you have the know how to get it to flow with the body i say go urethane. the better the quality of the kit the better its gonna fit, which means the more ya spend the less headache your gonna deal with. tsunami FTW my friend

Rep Power: 0 dude oem lip kit for sure. They already come factory matched painted so u will save upwards of 600 bucks. So ur spending around the neighborhood of 700 for all the pieces. I am sick of seeing all those weird painted civics with bumpers and side skirts 'waiting' to be painted.

2nd 1. I have it, it's ok.
Unless you are actually planning to show your car and start dropping some major money into it, just go with a lip or leave it stock. I've cracked my kit twice and that means re-painting. Make sure that you go to a good shop if you get it done because, yeah, fiberglass kits almost never sit perfectly. They need extra work to line up.
Oh yeah, this is the wrong place to ask about anything... Period. Don't listen to 99% of the people on here cuz they're gonna quickly give you the FU opinion. As I tell everyone that gets flamed on here... You do whatever you want. It's your car and ain't none of these people gonna be driving it but you. Do what makes you happy.

Rep Power: 222 get what ever you want. its ur car anyway and if u dont like the kit or u realize that they are not that great then get another style that u like...personally i think lip kits on our civics are sexier than body kits...you came here to get opinions so you gonna get different responses so dont take it personally.

Rep Power: 0 lip kits are def. cleaner if you get a nice drop but if I were you, I wouldn't buy a body kit that didn't say "perfect fitment" or "guarantee fitment" because it is just gonna fit like a.s.s. and your going to run into fitment problems, bumpers bubbling up, buldging. You don't want that, spend the extra $100 and get the perfect fitment if the body kit is the way you're going to go, if not, a Type-RS front lip is sexy.
oh yeah, if i had to choose a body kit, I would get the Buddy Club 2, just my 2cents
