Removing Center Console DIYs (conveniently located in the DIY section of the 7thgen section of the Forum):

Once you get the console off, it's pretty self explanatory.
As far as Grey's kit, good luck. He may be hanging around Import Passions these days. I highly recommend Grey's kit, or make sure you bend the cotter pins in a way to avoid ripping a hole in your new boot.
And the aluminum bushings are much better than stock. The stock bushings are rubber with a metal sleeve. The rubber allows the entire boot to move, and the aluminum bushings eliminate 98.864% of that movement.

Well i can't seem to find anything on gray's kits so if i were upgrading my stock shifter to a Revo ss should i just use the stock bushings or is there any other places that have/make kits to replace them?

You know you can fix your problem right?? I had the same problem when I got the shift ****. You actually have to use a wrench to tighten the nut. If you tighten the nut by hand it sits on the angle you have it on.

Capyoda was a user who sold the aluminum bushings. I think he has a website somewhere and may still sell them. CorSport has them and they are $25.
Grey was also a user here who sold another kit. It was some rubber washers and pins to eliminate side movement and the cotter pins that will rip a hole in your shift boot if they are not bent correctly (spoken from experience). Grey hasn't been around in a while. Has anyone tried PMing him? I think I saw that he may be hanging out over at Import Passions but under a different name.
Neither kit is necessary, but both are improvements to the stock counterparts.

Basically, my kit fixes up the Revo's funkiness. After you install the Revo you'll get more slop (play) in the shifter assembly and you won't be that happy with it. Some people also get some rattle. My kit fixes this. If you would like one, then PayPal me at: mdobosz@gmail.comthanks,
M
