Rep Power: 0 I have the shorty header with the Megan Testpipe and it's 2.25" and i can feel a lot of power...and I don't see how you can say that the Megan Piping is smaller than HP...where the crap did you pull that from? I'm going to get a measuring tape out when i get home and we'll just see...
5 and a half inches. I believe that's more than a "little" biger than stock...

Rep Power: 304 I will post a pic of the stock and the HP H26 later. Now I just hit the stupid deer in my new thread. So the pic of the H26 will be on my crashed *** car. I don't care what header you have it will not help avoid the deer.

Rep Power: 257 Thanks for the measurement on the megan header. 5.5 inches confirmed. HP ppl where are you? We need to settle this debate. Maybe we can ask Paul from Dezod or Eddie from Truehonda to confirm piping size of HP if no one is willing.

Rep Power: 0 I measured my stock header and it was 4" in circumference. That sounds like a really big difference and I suppose it is. If we could compare diameters for a second, as most people relate to that better. The Megan header at 5.5" is 1.75" in diameter and the stock header works out to 1.27" in diameter.
So assuming the wall thickness of the pipes are about the same, there is about 0.5" difference in the inside diameter.
If someone can now measure the HP and DC headers, we'll have a fair comparison.

Rep Power: 304 Well here you go finally the moment we have been waiting for. Pics of the OEM and HP headers. Now all we need is the DC guys to admit they bought a piece of crap and take some pics as proof.
I have included pics of the HP H26 this is a full 4-1 header and my old stock exhaust manifold. You will notice the long sweeping runners of the HP. This is an advantage over the Megan you will notice that the Megan looks a lot like the stocker. Yes the Megan may be a ½ in larger in diameter but the runners are a lot shorter . So where the pipes come together will be a restriction and with the Megan this restricion will hapen a lot sooner. The HP has longer pipes so they can hold more spent gasses before the collector. Now in conclusion. Longer runners make more ponies shorter pipes more TQ. This is your call. Both are better than stock. I took the HP badge off of my header whe I painted it. I can take a pic of it if needed for proof.
