Rep Power: 0 So I blacked out my headlights
So after about a year of contemplating on doing this, I finally got off my *** and did them. Woke up at 8am saturday morning (couldnt sleep) and went to Canadian Tire and picked up the stuff I needed...
this is on a 2001 Eternal Pearl Blue Si (ex in the states)
here's a couple before pics - note, the bumper is all messed because I hit some black ice back in december and went up a 3 foot hill of ice and cement curb. saw more damage when I took the bumper off, and it explains why the a/c hasn't been working this summer (which really sucks for 30-35*C weather for the last 2 months).
drivers side messed bumper...
passengers side...
the a/c unit located in front of the rad... yeah, its kinda fubared (I may not mess up too often, but when it happens, I do it good! LOL) - yes I will be doing a permanent fix, but I have a couple things I have to pay off first.
and the after pics...
... and I worked a bit of magic on the bumper
All in all I am VERY happy with the results!! Very easy DIY for the lights, took longer because of the extreme heat, lack of tools (house got robbed a couple weeks ago, with that, most of my dad's snap-on tools were stolen ) and fixing the bumper also

They're actually Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads - they're alright, I dont drive them in winter though (even though they're rated good for winter) because a) I have really good winter tires that came with the car when I bought it, b) They're super effin slippery in the snow/slush that we get here (thats how I went over ice/curb and messed up my bumper). They're pretty good in the rain and dry though, very grippy, and rated for 130,000kms
