I'm new to the world of honda civics, dont know much about them, just picked up an 02 lx with low kms I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best ways to gain hp out of a civic just doing bolt ons. where is the best place to start for the biggest gains. intake, exaust? or is there something better?

also, could someone point me towards a good place/website to buy aftermarket civic parts in southren ontario

as stated: best way to gain HP, turbo or K engine swap.
best way to gain HP via bolt ons: intake, exhaust, high flow cat, header (if you dont have to go for emissions exam), pullies..... thats pretty much it, and this can be done within $1500 USD.

Bolt ons may not do much in terms of HP but they do make the car more fun to drive. Anything is better than stock. As for if its worth it, thats up to each individual. Even if I had a brand new civic and started from scratch i'd still modify it some way or another. Call it stupidity or not there is some intrinsic value to modifying stuff.

I have dyno proven to get about 5-10HP ^^^
with I/H/E/clutch/8lbs flywheel/VAFC2 tuned.
stock car has 100 - 110 HP
I put down 115! These are the fact for my EM2!

BLK, he said he gained 20 HP JUST from an intake and the IAT "mod" and then 12 HP alone from a full exhaust system, for a total of 32 HP. That's why the
needs to be used to give him a beatdown.

With I/H/E and a VAFC-2 I put done 125 whp 115 tq. I got my car dynoed about 6 months ago. Changed my spark plugs recently and am convinced I could get another 2-4 hp out of them, so figuring that 5 speeds are around 100 whp, I added 25 whp from those mods. I am taking off the VAFC-2 and selling it because I dont need it. Basically to go back to what the original question was, get another car. Save your money and dont get I/H/E, it doesnt really do anything. But if 20-25 whp is what you want, go for it.

Just for the record:^^^
5 speeds are about 110 HP
Autos are 100 hp.
I doubt you made 125 to the wheels with I/H/E & a VAFC...
Do you have the dyno sheet???
