I decided to move my focus on cleaning up the engine bay. Cause lets face it my engine bay looks like crap. lol. So I have decided to do a wire tuck in the engine. Here is the first step of my long drawn out project. enjoy.

1 Remove valve cover
2 sand valve cover with 100 grit sandpaper
3 clear valve cover and let dry
4 paint with sandable primer--let dry
5 repaint with KRYLON WRINKLE PAINT-follow directions on can
6 Let dry for 48 hours
7 install

Rep Power: 273 I ahve no idea. I think ther are resistors but Im not sure. if you look in the pic you can see I just tucked them at the end of the cover. I plan to extend the wires nd move them later.
LOL but show me a turbo D17 thats not a mess in the engine bay. lol

Rep Power: 273 I had a spare valve cover from my motor build so I used that one. no I reused the gasket that was on the cover. Its just a rubber gasket. It really does not get that messed up. just pull it off before you paint the cover and put it back on.

Rep Power: 273 3 days of giving it hell and its all good. even went and simple greened the engine and it held up fine.

Rep Power: 258 same color but i had to use a velvet pinkish color to get the wrinkle effect and i tinted with red over it looks the same.
also painted my intake purple lol..
