Rep Power: 295 yes i am talking about the civic type r lips...the lip was abs plastic and it flexed well...if i bolted it and used some double sided tape it would fit perfectly but it was my friends so i didnt put it on...the 96-98s work as well as the 99-00 civic type r lips

Rep Power: 227 I bought the abs type r lip and tried to put it on my '04 coupe, but it didn't fit perfectly. The abs plastic didn't flex much, I tried to stretch it and it cracked at the edge, the lip was about a half inch to short. Luckily my homie does paint/body work, so he fixed it. He had to do a lot of work to get it to fit perfectly. He cut the lip in half, extented it a half inch and molded everything back together; you can't even tell the lip was cut into two pieces. I would have bought the factory si lip, but that was $550.00.

Rep Power: 227 its gonna be a really really tight fit if you can get it to fit without cracking. I got mine off ebay for $75 and it came with all the mounting hardware. double sided tape didn't work because if you get it aligned perfect the contact area with the front bumber is really small and 3m tape just wouldn't work. mount it directly to the bumper from the inside wheel well and mount in fromt the bottom with the brackets that come with the lip. You don't want it to fall off while your driving.
