Neons?
I dont know about cops in where u live but cops here in atlanta don't care what the hell u do to your car. I see people driving with their neons on all the time. I would get white or blue with that ssm.

Yep. I live like an hour above ATL. Small town called Cartersville. But I am supposed to be getting a lil $ soon. I'm probably getting a CF hood, and if I have enough left, I'm getting some neons. If hoods are too much, I'll get some neons, and my grill's lip painted etc.

I'm not really worried about people saying it's rice...If I cared, I probably wouldn't be asking about what color, type to get. But I've decided on StreetGlow Gold Series, and the color blue.
I think it'll look good w/my SSM Civic.

I have gold series and they are great
You can get them for WAY cheaper than $170, too. They aren't hard to find for less than $100. That's what I got my streetglow gold in blue for

here in illinois all colors are illegal. first day i had em i went driving all over and finally got pulled over an hour later. it was worth it tho everyone was looking and making sweet comments. if the tubes are hidden well, it looks really good. fyi, you have to cut out chunks of the rear bumper for the light to shine through.

I just mounted it a little back, and it is just fine. No cutting involved

3 Questions.
1. Where can I get the Gold Series, for around $100? Because I can't find them that cheap anywhere online.
2. Cutting???
3. How hard is the install? I might have my stereo guy do it for me.

cutting if you want to mount the neon inside the rear bumper and have the light shine through. this will give the brightest light and keep the neon away from the exhaust. you'll see what i mean when you look under and see. install took a few hours cause you have to run wires everywhere and make sure they don't get in the way. i used zipties and the oem sideskirts to hold the tubes.

I smashed my front neon, been smashed for a while...
but I replaced it, and since the place I mounted it was no longer available, I mounted it directly under the engine, so not only does it shine down...
It also shines up and gives my engine a cool underglow effect

This brings up another issue though. When I try to take pictures @ night with my digital camera, it like takes 2 minutes to focus and I have to keep the camera perfectly still or it'll be blurry. Isn't there a way that I can just hit the damn take picture button, and it takes the picture without focusing?

I had green and they were really bright. I got pulled over for them. Every cop that pulled me over told me something different. First I had blue and got a ticket. The cop said i couldn't have blue or red. I got green and the cop said it was for emergency vehicles, which none have green. One cop said its fine if the bulbs aren't showing, another said it didn't matter it was all illegal except for white and yellow. Cops never know they just make up there own rules anyways. I took my car to big O tires and they broke my side lights when they jacked it up and wouldn't pay for it.
White looks good and is legal.
