Rep Power: 787 if you have oem bulbs, then no it won't melt the film. mine only melted when i swapped the nokya bulbs in there. i'm back to stock and thinking of either gettin clear or yellow film.

Rep Power: 282 yea, as gearbox said, the film is likely to burn if u use the diff bulbs, i have yellow lamin-x and noyka arctic yellow bulbs, as long ias u dont leave the car siting there for a while with the fogs on, then ur fine, its when the car remains in one spot for an extended amount of time with the fogs on, thats when the burning occurs, its happened to me on both lights and i just replace the film, its easy as hell to do, and i always keep a sheet extra just in case, but to me, the film looks a lot better then the paint, but either way its up to u, all depends on what u want.

Rep Power: 282 yea ive had to replace it once, but that was my fault for leaving my fogz on for 20 min with out the car moving, other than that, nah no prob, its easy to replace, just takes some elbow grease.

Hi,
All yellow bulb I have seen are 100W, the factory recommanded 55W. Would 100W overcurrent and kill the harness?
thanks

hi,
So you have not burn anything?
Can the 80W bulb survive long (2-3 years), being the wrong wattage?
thanks
