ok searched and have to ask *tint*
before i go nuts with too much tint knowlege...

one place i called has been in bus. since 83 and do only auto glass...
they want 300 for 4 doors and a hatch (mazda3 5 door). they use Solargard

number two place wants 180 (norm 250) have a hook up... they do custom body work inc paint jobs ect.. they use 3m... how they both are giving lifetime...everything...

soo which brand is better... and solargard.com is not working sooo not sure if thats a good thing....

and yes i searched... but became overwhelmed with all the posts i read...

no tint lasts forever so you will need to get it done again at some point if you keep the car that long. so go with your hook up and 3m is quality.

If i was you, id use what the dealerships do. Llumar, its a quality brand and it has a metallic substance in the tint itself to prevent or help stop the annoying purplish tint that can appear from aging.

3m is pretty good quailty and that's not a bad price. my friend owns a sound shop and did my coupe for $75 $300 is way too much for tint even if it is "lifetime" which i doubt.

i have 5% llumar film tint all around....... u can really notice the metallic in the tint

$180 for 7 window tint is about right. $300 is too much.

$300 for windows is a rip. go for the $180 deal, thats how much i paid for all 7 windows on my sedan to be tinted.

for $300 i can get double limo with a layer of silver reflective between each layer and still have money left over for another civic 2dr...(i mean its enough for 2 civics coupes)...but yea go with the 180

ok worked it out.. .on monday its all set...
180, but he uses Sungard Midnight dye series...
not sure if thats good... but he said it will not turn Purple... and
lifetime warranty against bubbles, cracks, peeling, or color fading..
soo will post pics when i get it all set
