i vote for the EVO!

It seems like everyone turbos their civic, then sells it! Turbo'ed civics dont increase in value, do they?

I think we all want more power, and realize a D17 isnt going to be making 400hp. It does not raise the value, it would lower the value Id think. I am parting out my car once I make a final decision. There is decent power from a turbo on a D17, but you will want to turn it up to like 20psi. Thats what I need to be able to di, without spending 15000 more on the civic. After spending 10,000 on everything, it woulda been more worth it to use that as a down payment. I would need to spend a lot more money for some good reliability. Way too much, so Im gonna cut my losses where their at, and gain a little back.

Any feedback on a new Impreza? How is reliability, any known issues, what type of power they make for different models?

Umm Impreza... Subaru was ranked number 1 in reliability for 2004. Seems like you want a four-door, here you go. Can never go wrong with AWD. Factory turbo in the WRX (227hp) and, the Impreza WRX STi, 300 hp. I would definately pick the WRX due to it's great reliability, quality design, beautiful and huge interior, lots of space, huge trunk, excellent power, and potential. I can back up many of the other vehicles as well, but I must say the WRX is the best choice there. Have fun.

Those seem pretty nice.

You gain up to 30 hp, and like 30 tq from a new intake, downpipe, and exhaust. damn, not bad. And they are around 20, and a used one is probably not too bad at all. Sporty look, nice performance, nice wheels (17x7 RH's.). hmmmm, this is definately pretty nice, IMO.

apparently it comes with no options. But thats because it comes w/ a T25, suspension package, bodykit, 17x7 wheels, azenis I believe.

This is what they say:

2.0L turbocharged engine
Sports-tuned suspension
17-inch Racing Hart wheels
Tochigi-Fuji limited-slip differential
450-watt Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system

Nice.

This is definately way way near the top of my list, affordable too.

Well, the Mazdaspeed 3 is also on its way too.

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=105417

I'm personally driving a Mazda 3 hatch myself nowadays since I got rid of the civic, and I can say that the cars come well equipped for less than a similar class car.

If money isn't an issue, probably A4 is my choice.

Hell, get a used WRX. I just got off the phone with my bank and my loan is approved, so Im going to be getting one very shortly.

With under 1k in mods you are pushing 285hp and can hang with a STI, M3, EVO etc...

just traded my honda in for a wrx and loving it! AWD + turbo = awosome ride.

If you don't need awd, test out these:

TSX
RSX
SRT-4
RX-8
Mustang GT

Audi is nice and it's a 2.0t now. My parents Audi broke down at least 3 times a month during the winter though. An used sti or evo is awsome.

personally, i'd go for a Sti or Evo used but if you want new, the other choices are all sweet. The RX-8 has little torque but it's a sweet handler

good luch

Nope. My friend who now has an STi, had a wrx. He had 20k in mods in the wrx. Tuned by xx-tuning and everything. 308 to the wheels. There is no way your gonna get 285 for less than 1k. A utec is like 1k alone and they only get a wrx to about 240 hp. I've seen one being tuned in person. It'll take about 10k to get a wrx to perform like a STi. Thought I'd let you know....hehe.
