Of course his parents bought/lease the car, if that car really actully belong to his family.
And it is possible that his dad bought the car and told him :" hey one day when you are old enough, the car will belong to you"; you know, dad always says nice things to their baby boys.
So in his head (civictuner), it is his car. Althought by law it can't be, I would not believe in the US people can be registered without a license.

yeah he said something like that but my parents bought me a key and keyless remote cuz when i get my licese eh... 9months then ill be techincally my car... my parent got a Mercedes Kompressor.. i wanted to slap a exhaust on that but they said... the civic is urs.. u do it to the civic.... so its my car like when im 18.... i maen im the one who washes.. details... and do regular maintanince to the car,... so technically its mine..when im 18....i mean they never tecnically drive it... it has only 1g miles...
