Rep Power: 0 wheel and brakes paint job!!!
aight guys I finally got some pictures on my newly painted wheels, brake drums and brake calipers...
--The TenzoR Shu-4 wheels are painted black on the inside of the rims
--The brake calipers are painted white
--Break drums are painted white
I'm thought about painting Hot Rod Yellow on the calipers and drums but I thought white's a neat color and matches the rims...
What do you guys think? Free Write... Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 the caliper paint should be better, but I used the 1000F high temp paint, i figured the brakes are always hot, and it turned out all right... you don't even have to take them off, just buy masking tape and tape the ones you don't want the paint to get into, paint the front, top, side, and buttom and you're done...
POINTERS: shake the can very well, paint inside garage or a place with no wind at all, always spray at least 12" away, i did 4 coatings, so i spray really light at a time to avoid smearing and better paint contact, let it dry at least 20mins interval, do it on a sunny day to for the paint to dry quicker, take you time... Good Luck!
as far as cleaning, it's not that bad, I got the porterfield brake pads, and even with my slotted rotors still, the dust is minimal....
I only have to worry about are the calipers, the brake drums looks like I just painted them no dirt on em... but I just spray em with wheel cleaner and wash em off with water and it looks like new again!

Rep Power: 0 ummmm is it safe to paint the drums? Also I don't know if it is because of the picture quality but the paint job on wheels don't look too hot. You should have got it powdercoated.

Rep Power: 0 I used the Reg Flat Paint, and I don't wanna pay hundreds of dollars extra for the powder coat, the inside of the rims used to be white and it's nasty, with the brake dust, tar and what not in there, it's kinda hard to clean it, I hate sticking my arm inside the rims I get bruised or cut up everytime ...
here's other pictures... see the black paint on the white spokes?, yup lesson learned!
yeah I know it's kinda ghetto, but it works, I don't have to clean the inside of my rims for brake dust and tar anymore, i just spray it with wheel cleaner and rinse
