Rep Power: 399 I'm not sure why you guys keep thinking you can just remove this tip... you cant. It's welded to the pipe... which is welded to the muffler. if you torched it off, you'd take about 7" of the pipe with it... and the piping gets increasingly larger as it goes out the muffler. I'm not sure how you think you're gonna just pop a new tip on this... just leave it...its obviously that way for a reason... there is nothing universal about this... it's designed for the ES3/EM2 all the way back to the tip of the muffler... and every system is different... unlike some of these systems where it appears they stick the same muffler on it.. .with a different bend in front of it and bend a mid pipe.

Rep Power: 399 Who the hell knows... show me a dyno graph of any of those. If Tanabe and Skunk2 brag about power gains, then I would say absolutely not. Its a street system, max power is not its intent.

Rep Power: 287 Is it cat back? I have the old style sway bar from Progress - which means that I can't use a standard EX size cat (I would have to modify it to fit)....Sounds sweet!

Rep Power: 287 Oh - I went to their website - it says that it is powder coated piping, but does not mention stainless steel. I wonder if it is just mild steel or what? That would suck if so, rust is a beyatch......

Windows up, 65 mph, you hear nothing... highway cruisers... this is the one! It seems to quiet down at higher speeds... its a little audible below 30, but nothing bad... when you take your foot off the gas above 4K, you can also hear it... other than that, its pretty quiet. Imagine a stock exhaust volume... just a few notes lower.

Rep Power: 287 You know - I was just thinking. This thing sounds good - BUT I wonder how the gains would be for turbo application? Reason I ask is because most mufflers of this design are chambered, and have backpressure (ie flowmaster). That's why you see a lot of straight through designs (which sound like "fart cans"), because they usually give the best gains. Unfortunately they have the worst sound cuz of our small motor....

2. Ceramic Coating does the same for rust proofing as Stainless... Stainless still can surface rust, ceramic obviously wont.
3. I talked to a few people who have had them for 5+ years still looking like new.
4. It should work for a turbo. I watched a video of a JRSC 2000 Si and it worked just fine. It's 60mm piping (2 3/8"). It isn't that small.

Rep Power: 0 You sold me. Love that low profile design, I don't want the cops lookin at me all the time. And they love to look under the hoods of cars with noise makers.

Rep Power: 0 hey, I was thinking it might be cheaper to get the rs*r universal muffler, and then have a local shop do all the piping, and prehas even put a pipe stright thu so there is no cat or resonator... what about that idea?
