Cleaned up a bit..

Recently used Master Formula on the heat shield and engine bay frame for about 1 hour. Before I cleaned it up, the heat shield was black and the frame as well. The coolest part of it is that it takes little effort to clean the desired area. Just wanted to post because taking pics are fun.

Another member posted about this formula, but I highly recomend this product to any detailer or anyone who likes to keep the engine bay looking like new. Not only does it clean the engine, it works on anything from exhaust to home items.

Installed the AEM CAI on the d17a2.

Installed the tokico hp shocks w/ H&R sport springs & SPC front and rear camber kit.

Tragedy, very nice so far, now take it a little further, hit your AC lines with that and they will sparkle like chrome, and try to hit your PS pump, you'll be amazed. So far so good man....

use a degreaser first and just spray and wipe to remove dirt. once its clean, shine plastics with some plastic protectant like turtle wax. then do all the metals with polish to make it sparkle. i need to do mine but it once looked like this.

I know, when I saw a picture of your engine bay a month back, I knew I wanted to get my engine bay shining. The only thing is I never knew it was so easy. Did you use formula master or did u use some regular degreaser and polish?

i got some orange clean degreaser (these days its all the same), and mothers billet metal polish (expensive but good). and turtle wax platinum plastic protectant. the protectant will wear off over time, so will the polish but not for a while. just keep it clean by wiping off dust and doing polish every few months.
