Time period for springs to settle

Approximately how long does it take for new lowering springs to settle before you can have the car re-aligned? I have a 01 ex coupe and I am having Neuspeed Sports put on this week. I searched, but did not find anything under "settle" or "settling" and this was not in the FAQ...

Whenever I had to adjust the height of my coilovers, all I did was drive around the block once or twice for the ride height to settle if it even took that much driving to actually settle them. My friend also did this with his Tien SS. Since it's the spring alone that does this, I'd assume that your springs are no different. If anyone wants to verify that or correct me, be my guest. neuspeeds, the springs themselves dont really settle, they do however "settle inside the bushing".. this takes about 2 days.. i'd say its safe to get an alignment after 3 days but just wait a week to be on the safe side...

i had mine installed today and they said i shouldn't drive it at all because the alignment was so bad. one side is off by 2 degrees. do you think it's safe to drive for a while?

Well, I got the car back and the wheel gap in the rear is actually less (surprisingly) than in the front.... should this even out in a few days?

nope, usually the front "settles" faster then the rear due to the weight... are you sure you got the sedan springs and not the coupe ones? how much smaller is it?

if your wheel was like this

then i'd worry about driving 1,000 miles on them. it wouldnt stop me from not driving at all tho, i'd still drive around a week like that if i had to(thats about what 250 miles).

well it got me worried cause i drive anywhere from 90-110 miles per day. but i'm driving anyways. i had my factory wheels/tires on so i put my 17's back on so i'd wear them out. they are pretty bald now anyways.
