I recently bought an 01 dx and also purchased dropzone stuts and springs for it until I come up with money for a nice coilover setup. Now, they claim a 2 inch drop, but Im sure thats with an ex not a dx, however, I gothem on, and it only dropped the car about 3/4 to an inch maybe. How long does ti take for the springs to fully settle in?

ex/dx/lx doesnt matter....
2dr/4dr yes, but just slightly because the rear of the 4DR is a little heavier than the 2DR
usually takes bout a week to have then settled in.

there could have been a few reasons:
1. did u get teh springs installed right? if a professional did it, fine...if you did it, and its ur first time, you probaly did something wong.
example: ur suppose to leave bout an half inch of distance of the bottom coil for self-adjusting purposes and settling in purposes (i never knew this untill a pro told me)
2. ur springs are egay stuff...cuz i never heard of ur springs before

thats kinda....cheap man... the quality might just not be there....
jsut some of my .02

Thanks for the feedback, as for installign correctly, I did it properly. The springs arent top of the line, but, dropzone is by no means garbage, its just no neuspeed, or tien either lol. They ride great, and were cheap so, as long as they settle down a bit, Ill be very happy.

I like them, they setteled down, and the car is low, rides great, and I have a lifetime warrenty, so, once I decide to go coilover, I can, an duntill then, have no worries.
