Rep Power: 0 Tokico Blues, and Eibach sportlines?
here is the deal i've been coming to this site ever since i got my 02 ex a 2 years ago, and I know all about the search button, and nadaboh. So what I'm working on is the NAD, I recently purchased some motegi racing wheels, 17" with tires that are 215/45 17. My question is i'm trying to get reviews on that suspension set up. This is a daily driver just looking for a little bit more aggressive look, and after 2 weeks i'm already tired of looking at the wheel gap. I know i'm going to need a camber kit, all of that blah blah, like i said, this is my first post but i have been around for a good while. So any help with reviews on this set up would be greatly appreciated.

www.ajusa.com has some good prices on springs and shocks:
Eibach sportlines: 200.97 shipped
http://www.ajusa.com/cgi-bin/stores/...ategory_lookup
tokico blues: 401.8 shipped
===========================
Left Front: 130.66
http://www.ajusa.com/cgi-bin/stores/...60447f50adcaec
Right Front: 130.66
http://www.ajusa.com/cgi-bin/stores/...60447f50adcaec
rears: 70.24 x 2 = 140.48
http://www.ajusa.com/cgi-bin/stores/...60447f50adcaec
Total: 602.77 shipped
There's a member here selling brand new Konis Yellows 50mm for $500 shipped, and I would check them out if I were looking for a new setup. One thing is you'll have to modify your front struts for the koni inserts to work.
If you check the for sale forum, there's a couple of guys selling Eiback sport springs for 100+ shipping so you could get it for around the same cost as the Blues and E sports, and have a better setup in my opinion.

Thanks for all the help guys. This site rocks, i'm putting in my order today. I'm either going with dezod or ajusa.

I got Eibach Pro-Kits ($150) and Tokico Illuminas ($375 and much better than blues) from Kuruma Motoring on ebay for my EJ8. Kuruma sold the Sportlines for the same price.

I have Tokico Blues and i cant complain the ride is smooth, but its worse than stock, ((FYI) any aftermarket suspension is going to ride worse then stock), dropped 2 inches all around and i cant complain, no noise, no grinding, nothing, bought the springs from NAmotorsports.net, although visiting recently they seemed to discontinue their product line for Honda's, Tokico's i bought from ebay, was the lowest price i could find.

thanks ive been lookin into this setup. Im tryin to decide between getting brand new hp blues from truehonda and gettin a used set of sportlines and getting full coilovers. I live in canada and we get snow and i may be puttin a bodykit on and i dont wanna be screwed. This is my daily driver. I cant afford to get another car. It sounds stupid but i wanna drive my civic year round. Is it worth it to get coilovers just so i can put the car up in the winter and slam it in the summer. Or should i just buy struts and springs???? wuts the best idea. Wut about sleeve coilovers. I know that thye arent the best choice but wut about ground controls and skunk2s

sleeve coilovers have every stiffy ride, another word unconfortable for daily drivers. True coilover system will be good, but not cheap, if u can affort one go for it. if not .tokico blue and eibach spring(maybe tein and neuspeed
) will the cheapest but the best set up u can get. for now lol

I've seen a lot of comments from people that get harsh winters - they seem to recommend the coilover so that you can raise it up in the winters. Just find yourself a good (and cheap) alignment shop for every time it goes up and down.
