Rep Power: 0 Sedan 18's & tire size (again)
What;'s up, I've currently got 17's w/ 215-45-17, I need tires soon, so i was considering selling them and getting 18's. Now i'd like to keep the 215-45-18, but it may not look right, I know the 215/40/18 would work, but what about 225/40/18? Please help, i'm looking for the best protection I can get, and i'm not looking to ever lower my car, so the less wheel gap the better......I live in new england and the roads SUCK!!
Thanks for the help - D

Rep Power: 392 well you have to remember, less wheel gap means higher ride height.
anyways 225-40-18 should work with a stock suspension. maybe even 225-45-18, kinda risking it tho, just stick with 225-40-18

Rep Power: 392 hondaluver had 225-40-18 i think.
torreto had 225-45-18 with ground controls but then he gutted the front fender wells and rolled the rear fenders.
