fresh EBC pads fitted .. Working well.
Fitted full set of the Base/street (forget their name) EBC pads on wife's '04 el with 50K miles (4 disc brakes on that model)
Bit hesitant to be honest.
Not wanting a constant earful... IF her brakes weren't same as before on OEM pads.
EBC's were ~70$ Vs the dealers 280$ price... As to the why of my choice
Just posting to say that IF you have any such Worries.. Don't!
These EBC's grip Soooo much better than the oems.
I was Surprised by the improvement and happily so.

Air in the calipers can cause unwanted dragging and premature wear, as well as corrosion in the pistons.
As caliper heats up, the air in the brake fluid will expand putting additional pressure on the piston. Resulting in more heat and hence more pressure. It’s not enough to cause a drastic issue, but certainly can cause wear issues over time.
Corrosion is the usual result of contaminated brake fluid. That stuff can suck the mostiure out of desert air rusting out your system given enough time so if it’s not flushed out every few years it will become a trouble maker.
if it was paid product issue, you would expect to see it on all 4wheels. As it stands just being a issue on the diagonal, I think it’s something else.
