My girlfriend just got this car (steel wheels), and it has winter tires on the way out. Her previous car (98 Contour, being junked) has almost brand new p206/60r15 tires. I spoke with TireRack and they say the size SHOULD fit, but they might be a little tall (too close for them to call)

Anyone have any experience with this size tire on these Civics? Will it be OK, or will she have issues with rubbing, etc?

P206/60r15 doesn't exist.

P205/60r16 will fit. But you wanna make sure you have at least a 6.5" wide rim. The stock Honda rims for our cars are 6" wide. That means you should run no larger than a 195.

If you run a p205 you will be pinching your tire. Which is not good.

i would still recommend getting 195 instead of 205. there is no real benefit that is worth it if you are going to be putting it on a stock 6" (diameter) rim)
