205 45 17's or 215 45 17's...Help!

I just ordered 17's, but the sales person wanted to put 215 45 17's which is way wider than stock....I was thinking about 205 40's, but the guy said the civic isn't load tested for the 40. Will it look stupid with a 205 vice 215? Does anyone have a pic with no drop and 205 45 17's ??? Please Post Pics...Thanks in advance

I put 205/40/17's on my car and I think it looks great...my sales guy told me that its recommended to go to 215's for another $100....I decided against it.

I'll have pics on friday morning...gotta wait for all this rain to stop...until then stay posted

i had 215/45/17s and i just went down to 205/40/17. they may be a bit smaller in width, but the rubbing issues i had on 215/45/17 are gone. i had to run more negative camber in the rear than i do now with the 205/40/17.

i'm dropped on neuspeed sports with 205/45/17s it looks pretty good
i think 215 45 17s are too thick but i'd go with either 205 45 17 or 215 40 17
i got lots of pics of my 205/45/17..but not sure how to post pics.....
