Talking Ride issue

So I'm thinking of swapping my OEM tires & rims for my 04 Civic and getting 215/45R17s on Motegi 17x7s. One question though, if my ride has stock suspension am I gonna need to get a kidney transplant after driving on the highway? The 45 series has a sidewall height of only 3.8" down from 4.73" on the stock tire and the inflation pressures probably gonna be in the 35-40psi range. Is this gonna jolt all my denatl fillings????

I dont understand why you're gonna inflate the tires that much. You should leave them at 30 PSI. The ride on the stock suspension is fine with the 45 series tires, but expect the car to follow the grooves in the road a lot more.

Naturally it will change the ride a bit. I had 21545R17 with stock suspension for a couple of years. But if you run 35 to 40 PSI, it will be even worse. No point in running any more than 30-32 PSI. I will tell you that when you can, upgrade the stock struts. I couldn't believe the difference in ride after putting on the KYB AGX struts, Eibach kit, and 21540R18 over stock suspension and 17's.
