Questions about alligning rims...

Hey all! I just got some rims this week and all I have been hearing is "you better get em alligned or say bye to your tires." Before I got the rims on, I had the stock wheels alligned. Will I have to allign them??? Thanks.

no...You only need to get realigned when you lower. Anytime you change the ride height then you get it aligned. Changing wheels does not change your alignment.

Ive heard the same exact thing from a lot of ppl when i got my rims too. Ive had them on for about 2 months and the tire tread seems to be holding up fine without new alignment. I dont really see any advantage in realigning when choosing a larger rim size, but it does seem to be the popular belief lately.
