Rep Power: 0 Questions about alligning rims...
Hey all! I just got some rims this week and all I have been hearing is "you better get em alligned or say bye to your tires." Before I got the rims on, I had the stock wheels alligned. Will I have to allign them??? Thanks.

Rep Power: 387 no...You only need to get realigned when you lower. Anytime you change the ride height then you get it aligned. Changing wheels does not change your alignment.

Rep Power: 0 Ive heard the same exact thing from a lot of ppl when i got my rims too. Ive had them on for about 2 months and the tire tread seems to be holding up fine without new alignment. I dont really see any advantage in realigning when choosing a larger rim size, but it does seem to be the popular belief lately.
