Rep Power: 0 removing clear coat from wheel
I've got stock alloy wheels that are 10 years old and the clear coating is peeling, flaking, and stripping off -- very very slowly and unevenly. Is there some liquid or sanding technique that will allow me to strip it all off so it doesn't look so ugly? Thanks.

Rep Power: 399 Aircraft stripper, wash off, repeat, sand 400 grit, then 800, then 1500-2000 grit. Wash clean, alcohol wipe, re-clearcoat.
Make sure you take the tires off or cover them, rubber doesn't like solvents.
Or take em somewhere and get them powdercoated.
