Question Si rear disc brakes vs. our front disc brakes

I hear a lot about doing a conversion for our rear brakes to the Si rear disc brakes. But I have a question. Are the Si rear brakes better, the same, or worse than our FRONT brakes? I asked this a while ago in some thread, but I didn't get an answer, and I'm very interested, seeing as how I'm saving up for 17's soon, and my rear drums just will not do. Anyways, my main question is; if I upgrade the front brakes; to the Si if they're better, or AEM or whatever; could I use my stock front disc brakes to replace my rear drums? Thanks.

the rear si disc brakes are smaller than our stock front.

and our stock fronts are the same size as stock si.

and no you can not nove ur fronts to the back, unless you want major cutting and what not
