Um, you dont understand Plus sizing on wheels, do ya?
Yes, filling the wheel gap with a set of tires is not good, and would be stupid.
The diameter of the tires will be so large, that you might as well enter monster truck races.
WHen you Plus size your rim, you have to get the appropriate size tire to keep the overall diameter as stock.
There is a GREAT calculator on this site, see at the top "TIRE CALC"
Enter your stock size, then play with it till you get a 17" the right size.
Or Go to a shop that knows what they are doing, and not one that will just sell you anything.
Get help before you buy. It will mess up the car, and make it so slow!

i thought haveing big tires was a big problem but my friend just lifted his f150 and threw on some 35" tires on them bad boys. thats atleast 1/4 bigger then the regular size.
n i thought having a 1" bigger diameter was a big deal
who cares, you get less mileage anyways. just as long as they aint too big
-for a stock height car i'd say 215-45-17 is a good size. 215-40-17 is nice on a lowered car. 205-40-17 is just too damn tiny... looks real funny on a stock or lowered car.
-do you have a picture of those wheels? i always here people talking about motegis but i never really got the big deal. i like wheels that stand out. you cant go wrong with silver but its just so plain. chrome or white looks nice on a black car. but ya thats just me. n err i know i have a black car with silver wheels but those wheels only came in silver, maybe i'll get it dipped in chrome later on.. check my link for pics

Yeah I was looking to buy the MR7 before I bought mine yesterday but the only drawback I saw was everyone in this town is selling them and they weigh like 24.5 each uggg a little on the heavy side mine are like 20 pounds each. But I went with 215/45 since I have the EX model I won't gain miles like I would with a 215/40 or 205/40 or even a 205/45. Also didn't plan on dropping the car.
Hope this helped

I had the MR7s on my car they were 17s and actually I am trying to sell them. I have had 205/40 and 215/45 rubber on them with no problems. I had it lowered 1.3 all around and had no rubbing.

the mr12's look so much better, a little cheaper too- the gunmetal ones look great, I have 215/45/17 with neuspeed sport drop and it looks awesome and is much better for the occasional pothole than 205's
