Can I put 205/60/14 tires on stock 14" rims?

Can I put 205/60/14 tires on stock 14" rims?

I recently heard that you could replace the stock 185/70/14 with 205/60/14 tires (on a stock 02 LX). Call me stupid (go ahead), but will this work? Is there any reason not to do this? Thanks.

I have 195/64R14's on mine and there seems to be enough clearance..It should fit...but it might run in sharp turns or big bumps..
