Re: New Rims with Rubber!!!

It rubs, but only when I go in and out of driveways that have very steep angles to them. I don't plan on rolling the fenders or anything, just raising the car accordingly.

16x8 should work I guess. I'm not sure. These rim and tire combo was a gamble for me, and it worked out. The offset on these are +36.

They fit, offset dependent.

Advice.... just because I know... be extremely mindful of your rear toe setting, especially with very sticky tires... it will move with suspension travel, and you can (I've done it) run the rim into the control arm. Getting the necessary clearance is a function of camber, toe and ride height, but if you can't get a finger in between the arm and the rim, try and find more room.

Re: New Rims with Rubber!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely work with the alignment guy on it.

Btw does anyone know of a custom alignment shop in San Jose? I'm looking for the old school, none of this laser computerized dip spit. Pm me thanks.
