do any of you have some imput on the pros/cons of these tires?

You'll probably get the most life out of the Pirellis. They're all seasons. Thing is you'll trade the grip.
You kinda get one or the other. You get dry grip from softer compounds, which don't last as long.

can't you correlate treadlife to softness/hardness of compound?


reason why cheaper tires use softer compounds and have lower treadwears....



any case I'd go with falkens....just from experience of tire brand not that size...

softer doesnt mean cheaper, softer in my case just made the tires wear too fast

In general harder lasts longer. Because its harder, it doesn't grab as well.

The m & s are all season, I have them, and love the tire. If you don't need an all season check out the list it is for summer performance. Check to see if you have
one of these store near you. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/home.do They will price match the internet, Saved me almost 40 a tire. Hope it helps.
