Filling air in tires

Is there a portable tire air filler available in the market (something you can stow in your garage)? I don't want to have to go to the gas station to fill air in my tires. If such a product is available, where can I get it?

any place like walmart or target should have one that you can plug into your AC plug. They take awhile but they work. If not you can get any compressor with the right adaptor. Craftsman makes a few different sizes. If you only want to fill tires and no run air tools then get the smallest one.

I would say go for a mini air compressor like this http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...id=00915310000

Its a little more expensive then others with no tank, but you can also run small air tools which is kinda nice when doing suspension work.

Besides the aforementioned home compressors, pick up a little $10-15 12V DC compressor to leave in the trunk. Slow to fill, and nowhere powerful enough to seat a tire on a bead (not that most people ever have to deal with that), but if you're in the middle of nowhere with a flat ... and the spare is flat too(!), it's a damn good thing to have.

Those portable tire inflators are a life saver. We had an old Maxima that with a leaky tire. If you park it just the right way, by the time you're done with lunch, it was pretty low.

I just bought one of those small compressors that plugs into the cig lighter, and modded it to clamp directly to the battery like jumper cables. works great and has saved my *** a few times.

I had that one but returned it. It didnt have the power I wanted. It only offers up to 6.8 CFM at 90 PSI. that isnt much considering some of the bolts take alot to remove. Besides I went to a dude house over the weekend who had a 80 gallon one and that thing was bad fuking ***. Much quieter, and the air lasts longer.
