Rep Power: 309 some shops can do "custom" paint jobs on rims but its an risk because the paint can chip or crack depending what kind of paint and how well it was done. if you wanna do like custom colored rims on the outline of the rim or on the spokes, then that'd be harder and im guessing more cost. i know for sure powdercoating rims are affordable and reliable at a certain reason.
are you trying to color your rims to match your green 7thgen?

Rep Power: 309 its not a bad thing. powdercoating "can" crack but its more reliable then regular painting.
i never powdercoated my rims at all but its done in high heated temp. kinda like baking your rims instead of the potpie
powdercoating should run about $20-50 a rim depending if you got hook-ups. maybe the rim size will vary but shouldn't be over $200 for all 4 rims. i seen people get powdercoating done for $25 a rim in san jose. many people done it on this site...
dizwickdcivic: http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...er/8343/sort/2 (racing hart c2's = powdercoated glossy black i believe)
going for the green scheme may turn out ugly, but if you can prove me wrong, i'd be surprised

Rep Power: 309 ^dark colored rims would match up with your stock green civic paint (gunmetal, black, hyper black, hyper silver? etc etc). regular silver is just too plain and white = not sure..
if your a fan of chrome or those polished finishes, they look real clean too.

Rep Power: 0 What about getting your rims anodize? < Dont know if i spelled it right?
get them anodize green with a polish lip. I think that would look sick. I seen it a couple of times in the streets. Once with a red jetta with same color anodize red in the middle with a polish, the rims match the car perfectly. It doesnt looks like cheezy painted rims. Imo.

Rep Power: 0 if i were you buy a gunmetal. hyper black etc.. green on green is gonna look gay unless their like 19's w/ a big as lip... that my opinion..
painting is ok.. but they ust be prepped awesomely and use high temp paint,
powdercoating is like 120 a wheel round here,(considering that includes sandblasting them(prep work is mandatory)
whatever you do to them...prep work is the most important
also.. a green wheel is gonna have like ZERO resale value considering noone has the same taste and well... the only people gona wanna buy em are people w/ green civic, and then how many people w/ a green civic want a green wheel.. maybe 1-2 then out of those 1-2 how many have the $$ to buy it.. 0 so get something more common and it'l bring u more $ in the end.

Rep Power: 0 ^ That is correct. I wouldnt want to pay for green wheels even if I had the money. Some manufactures make wheels that are painted. Of course you will PAY for them. Your best bet is to either powder coat or just stay with what you can get over the counter.
btw- If you damage the wheels, you will have to fix and then powdercoat over again.

Rep Power: 387 haha I was gonna get those green wheels for my autox wheels, just to be flashy. My current ones are powdercoated black. I would have to say the average is about $50-80 per wheel if you don't have hook ups. Make sure you know that they do a good job. Ask for samples or pictures.

Rep Power: 280 wow that sounds very nice... anodized huh... Cool, basically im looking at 500-300 dollars to get some rims either anodized, or powdercoated... oh yeah about the resale thing, lol if push came to shove i would prolly just put back on the stock tires and stuff, and keep the powdered/anozized rims, im not planning on selling my civic n e time in the future lol... i wanna try to keep it at the best shape possible, then later on swap my engine with like a newer one, and keep my 01 body, i luv it that much. lol
