Rep Power: 355 Moonroof wont vent all the way on its own
So yesterday I noticed that when I try to vent the moonroof on my 03 EX it doesn't vent on its own. It's like the motor tries to lift it but it can't get all the way without a push. The car's got 53K on the clock but I could probably get Honda to do a good faith repair since the car isn't 2 years old. Anyone else have this issue? Could I just grease the tracks? WTF!

Rep Power: 0 Something is definatly binding, so stop using it and fix it before you burn up the motor. I would first check all around the seal for any cracks or debris that may have come lodged in the seal. If it looks good, then open the moonroof all the way and clean out and vacuum the moonroof tub and spray silicon on the tracks and some on the seal. It could be that the seal just sweld up and needs a little lube.
