One day one of the hoses going into my radiator fell off spraying coolant all over the engine bay and since then the coolant is not circulating at all leading to the car overheating. Im hoping and assuming that the thermostat has gone and its not a more serious issue like the water pump, it's an Ep2 civic I just need help with what to replace. I'm struggling to find thermostats on ebay from just searching Ep2 thermostat, do I have to search anything more specific? There's a thermostat sensor for sale would that be what I want? I'm not great with repairing cars and just need some help on what to do

Have you refilled the coolant and bled out all the air?
You may have damaged the head gasket, these cars are sensitive to that.

Yeah when driving it back from when this happened I just pulled over every time it was getting too hot but the head gasket has unfortunately blown from the temperature but I am trying to use one of these liquid head gasket repairs but in order to do so I need to coolant to be circulating. So yeah that's my situation 😂

Surprised the company’s that still sell that stuff have not been sued back to 1960 when they still rarely worked.

Addimg that stuff to modern engine is going to clog up your heater core / radiator and thermostat and do absolutely nothing to keep the pistons from injecting compressed air into your coolant.
