Manual Shifting???

Hey sup everyone, when i'm at a stop light, i throw it into first when light turns green , and it gets stuck sometimes??? then when i go to second gear from first while i'm driving, i have to force it in and da sound of that really bothers me? and idea's? or am i trippin or just shifting wrong?? any advice will be appreciated and more. umm you got the clutch in all the way??? Yesterday was my first day driving a stick shift, and i couldnt get it into gear bc i didnt have the clutch all the way in. it might be that or ur linkage since 1st-2nd is straight down.

Will it be covered under warranty, i have 20,000 miles on it, and i also have the extended 100,000 mile warranty??? bout 1 year old

Thanks s2000, i will post all problems in this forum and thanks for da warranty info, i got one last question before i take it in, i hit a curb, and it messed up my wheel alignment, will they blame it on da cluth/shifting problems? and if they do, what should i say or do, even though that wasnt the case?
