Ok so now that time has changed this really bothers the ef out of me. I installed a new ELD and same result. I’ve read they will dim some, however hoped new load detector would help a little.
Driving low speeds on acceleration their dim. Let off gas gets back brighter. After you reach “x” speed they go back to “normal” brightness. This only does this from what I seen on low beam.
Any ground issue anyone knows ab? Suggestions? Or is this just typical??
Just to note alternator is charging fine during all of this.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Dimming headlights
It's probably normal.
You might notice the blower fan slow down a little bit when the lights dim too.
In Hondas ELD controlled charging system, the PCM (or ECM) is able to adjust the alternator charge rate and voltage up and down as it sees fit, based on the cars electrical load (the ELD part), battery state of charge, and driving conditions. Honda has been doing it this way for literally decades....much of it is to boost fuel economy.
If you connect a digital voltmeter and watch the voltage as you drive, you can probably watch it range anywhere from 14.6ish when it's charging full blast, to a little below 12v at times when it's in low mode.

11.9 to 14.2 is the range I saw when I had a VAFCII installed in my car, depending on RPM and engine load. It's normal.

Learn how it's supposed to work, confirm yours is or isn't doing what it is supposed to be doing.
If it's normal- there isn't anything to do.
If it's not normal for a Honda then you've got something to go on.
