Alternator Replacement - 05 Civic
Trying to make up my mind on which brand I should buy for alternator replacement.

So far I am thinking about the

Premier Gear PG-13893 (new)

or the Denso 2104148 (reman)

Anyone have experience with Premier Gear in particular? On the other hand is buying a reman Denso alternator a good idea?

Hopefully it won't fail after driving for 10 minutes lol.

Call your local auto electric shop and ask how much and how long to rebuild your alternator. I'll bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I had a rebuild...It lasted 1.5 years and blew again. ...now I'm running a Beck and Arnley, cheap and durable.

I've been rocking an Autozone duralast for.. a few years now

Had one seize on me after 3 years, but got it replaced for free thanks to its lifetime warranty

It seems like a hit or miss for reman alternators in general.

I think I'm gonna go with a Denso reman.

got the "tough one" from advance. lifetime warranty and installed/operates just fine. I think I paid under 100 for it too after promo code
