Rep Power: 0 04 civic ex timing belt check?
bought my car with a used engine and they had replaced
timing belt at that swap
I am wondering is there a way I could just check the belt out
without having to do a complete disassemble of all that I would
do to just change it?
possible to just take cover off at top w/o having to remove
valve cover, etc.
Any easy way to just check your timing belt on these 7th
gen motors?
THANKS

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Pull the valve cover and upper timing cover off, but what do you hope to see?
Do you know the mileage and date when the engine was replaced?

There is a rubber strip plug in the middle of the lower timing belt cover. using small mirror you can see the timing belt
