Rep Power: 309 windshield washer nozzle spray stains
ERRR... wtf.. i have the stock windshield washer nozzles.. when you use them.. theres bound to be some splash back.. seems like the splash back has been drying on my hood? now i ahve this big water like spill stains originating from my windshield washer nozzles.. they WILL NOT COME OUT.. i tried the normal carwash soap.. water.. even WINDEX.. (which probably ate some of my clear coat off too).. and these stains will not come out.. its like its baked dry into the hood.
what am i to DO?!?!? i will try to take pics if none of this makes sense to u.. and by the way i am using RAINX as the washer fluid...
Goo Gone? is that harmful to the paint? do u think that will work?

Rep Power: 0 I get that prob too. Pisses me off, though I've been able to get the 'stains' off easily. Let us know if you can get it off incase it becomes a widespread issue.

Rep Power: 0 Lots of wax in the area by the nozzle. My dealer always tops off the fluids too when I get an oil change. Anyone notice that the windshield washer fluid that honda fills for you wreaks of alcohol. I know that windshield washer fluid has some alcohol in it, but never had such a strong smell before.

Rep Power: 0 From what I can tell Washer fluid is different at a lot of dealeships. I've had mine replaced at different dealers. One had the high alcohol smell, one didn't. I am unsure as to what kind is better.

Rep Power: 0 maybe you should try adjusting your windshield washer nozzles, so that they don't leak onto your paint. and to remove that stain, try some of the armor all car washing liquid. but, don't dilute it with water. put it on there at full strength, and let it set for 2-5 minutes. then rub it with your washing rag wet. and wash it off normal. thats what i did before i changed mine to some aftermarket high pressure nozzles, no leaky mess anymore.
