Rep Power: 0 P0420 code with Header install
I put a header on my 2001 LX to replace a cracked manifold. I was getting the light before I changed it but it would come and go. Now that I have put the header on it has'nt gone off. I know it's because I removed the manifold with the cat. But what are my options other then buyin a new manifold. Can I weild up the old manifold or get O2 Simulators but it needs to pass MOT.

I used the spacer (non fouler drilled out to 1/2 ) worked CEL went off after a day or so. It even seems to run alot better lots more power. Now if I could get the old heat shield to fit the header(blue-ing sucks).

Just an update I used the spacer trick to remove to light. As I said it worked it turned off the light. But it also passed inspection. They never even popped my hood.
