Warranty Question...?
Warranty Question...?
yes i searched this n i didn't find a straight answer....my 3rd gear is grinding n i'm like 99.9% sure that is the syncro....but will honda cover this problem....cuz i figure if they do then i'll have to take my SS out....i just wanna no if its worth takin it to them or just replacing the tranny
I had the same problem, took it to honda and they made me pay because my car is lowered. Said that it changed the geometric angle of the axles causing abnormal wear in the tranny. That was the last extended warranty ill ever buy.

i wouldve seriously laughed at that and on my way walking out have american honda on the phone to make them aware of such stupidity.
this reminds me of the time some flunkie monkey tech was blaming my intake and exhaust for the mechanic's inability to torque spark plugs and fill the oil to max. the way he said it was so retarded and made absolutely no sense at all. i wanted to say, um can you rewind and actually think before you speak?
its like the gas station attendant who told my dad that putting aftermarket intake will mess up the engine because it wasnt designed to handle all the extra air. bwahaha
