Hi!

I have a Honda Civic 1993 1.5L vehicule which is not hatchback. When I start it, the engine starts to turn, then it stops. I HAVE to push and hold the gas pedal for at least a second or two to keep the motor running. Just to make it harder, it doesn't always happen, it's intermittent. I live in Quebec, Canada and it's winter right now so I have no idea if it's gonna do the same thing on next summer. We thought it could be the cables for the sparkplugs, but chances are I would have problems on the road which is not the case. The car accelerates the same way as before and everything else is working fine. Any ideas about what it could be? Please note I'm no car expert, I don't really know much at all but just trying to learn when I have problems with it.

some easy solutions. goto www.lubecontrol.com and buy their oil and gas addatives. change spark plugs with new NGK copper type. when starting the car, turn the key to the ON position and wait a few seconds for the fuel pressure to build before cranking the motor.
