hard start - no apparent reason

when i was going to lunch today, my car didnt want to start, it cranked for 5-6 seconds before starting. i know this has been posted before, but most of those people had less than 1/4 tank of gas, and i still have 3/4 tank, plus the temp was cold but not too cold (like 40 F) i never had a problem before with much colder weather

Was the car sitting on a flat level surface or on an angle. My car does that when it is parked at an angle. Don't know if the fuel is returning back into the tank or not. Try turning the key to on and let it sit for a few seconds then try starting it. This will let the fuel pump push some fuel through the lines.
