I guess I need to change my O2 sensor which is something that I could do myself. But could anyone help me which O2 sensor I need to buy exactly??? I have a 2005 Honda Civic Coupe VP. Thanks in advance!
that could mean that the sensor is not plugged in or there is a short in the wire somewhere bank 1 sensor 1 you can see it as soon as you open the hood it is the thing sticking out of the exhaust with 4 wires coming out of it

I have just fixed, reset my SRS light. My code read

9-3 Faulty driver’s seat belt buckle switch.

Seems to be a common problem.

This guy help from his website. Thought it might be useful.

could be a short in your ground, or wiring issue.
Repair short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors

Verify battery voltage to the rear O2 sensor heater on the Black/Yellow wire with the key on. Check the Rear O2 sensor heater ground circuit voltage to the computer on the Black/White wire; clear the code first and see if the computer ever tries grounding the Black/White wire when starting the engine and if the code resets. Depending on what you find you will need to fix conector or repair/replace wiring.

P0141 Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction

Possible CausesSetting Conditions
  • HO2S connector is damaged (check the fuse t o the heater circuit for damage, and for moisture)
  • HO2S heater power (12v) circuit is open (check the fuse to the heater circuit)
  • HO2S heater ground circuit is open
  • HO2S heater has failed
  • PCM has failed

Measure the resistance of the heater circuit on your new sensor (rear sensor).

Spec is 10-40 ohms.

My guess: Throw away the Bosch sensor. Get a correct DENSO sensor.

Re: If You Are Having Car Problems And Your Check Engine Light Is On, Please Read Thi

I had some electrical issues on my car so I dismissed the check engine light coming on as something tied to a funky fuse or something of that nature. I got sick of looking at the darn light after a while so I found a nice low price OBD II scanner that works right with your android phone at a fraction of the cost of some of the more expensive brands. Found the code was tied to something completely different (but a cheap fix thankfully) The scanner I tried was from www.bafxpro.com, the bluetooth model.

My SRS light came on when the alternator was producing too much current. New alternator = no light.

PS, the dealership couldn't get any codes at all for any system.

True, this particular problem leaves no fault codes.

Re: Is your Check Engine Light, SRS Light, Or ABS Light On? If so, Please Read

2 part question... I've tried to reset the SRS light myself several tries with no luck. The light cycles on and off like the directions describe, but only the first two times. During the third ign. on/off, disconnect/reconnect my leads the light stays on. Does this mean anything to anyone? I had the light reset at my local shop when I first got the car to get my inspection sticker.

Second... With regards to reading the OBD codes, which light is blinking that I'm supposed to be counting? The SRS light or the check engine light?
Thanks all

If you are looking for engine codes, count the blinking engine light.
If you are looking for SRS codes, count the blinking SRS light.

I just remember.,. When trying to rest the SRS light, while it doesn't cycle on and off on the third ign on/off, the engine light will blink twice. The SRS light stays on,
but the engine light stays off.
