Rage!!! *56K Go Away*
Ok guys. . My car got hit. I'm pissed off. I'm heading outside right now to take some pictures. I don't know who did it. It was a hit and run, I think it must have happened when I went out to dinner last night. GRRRRRR..
It's on the passanger side on the rear bumper. How much does everyone think it would cost to get the rear bumper completely repainted? This sucks!!

Paint will probably be a few hundred dollars if the bumper is not damaged physically. Just make sure you take it somewhere good or the paint won't match the rest of the car.

thats just paint..3 hours labor. i dont know about nebraska, but maryland is $32/hr for labor and another $50 or so in paint, flex agent and finishing. so youre looking at just under $200. most shops will also charge an addition $80 to uninstall/reinstall the bumper.
again, this is all from my personal experience.

Yeah. I'm glad that it's just the bumper and whoever it was didn't take out my whole passanger side. Shouldn't be too much money to fix. My dad owes me a graduation present, looks like I'm gonna have to cash in to get the bumper fixed. I'll let everyone know how much it costs and post up pics of it once it's fixed up.
the issue with painting is that they have to blend new paint with the rest of the car, so more work might have to be done than just fixing the scratches to make it look right.
Your'e probably looking at maybe $300 - $500 (guessing) I have scratches on our 98 bumper from scraping into a rock and it was a similar scenario - bumper scratched to hell..

your lucky, my front passenger fender is ruined (see sig) so i have to replace it and then i am getting the whole car painted because it needs it and it will look nice. I just need to decide whether I want to change the color or stay the same, all depends on money.

Does anyone know how likely it is that they will be able to match the color? I got a brand new front bumper from Honda when the paint started to come off of my original one. Honda matched the paint perfectly.

i went to go visit my car at the shop today...the paint looks GORGEOUS. if you take it to a place with a quality paint booth and reputable brand of paint is used, youll be set.

Give me good brands of paint. . Which ones should I ask about? I don't want to get some crap.
I know that Honda (obviously) has a good brand. Which does Honda use? Which brand did they use on your car SkipBarber?
Thanks

that sucks man, sorry to hear that.
btw, have you got your reap bumper repained before or got a new one because it looks like your paint is a darker shade than the rest of the car.
